  1. Treasure belongs to Greece but somehow appeared in British Museum… I wonder what percent of such treasures makes the British Museum..

  2. It may not be ours, but I’d rather it be a free day trip away here than all the way over there in Greece! Just a little selfishness.

  3. This is the frieze from the temple of Apollo ot Bassae, which is an amazing site you should visit if you are near Olympia / Kalamata.

    It’s a shame because it is one of the best preserved temples in ancient Greece and they were going to build a larger museum in addition to the temple but both times I’ve been there were only one or two other cars in the car park.

    They should be returned.

  4. Doesn’t matter if Turkey gave it to Brits or they bought it somehow. They belong to modern-day Greece. Britain should return this.
