Let’s take 4 apartments per floor * 16 floors * 2.5 kW / hour = 160 kW / hour of heat is needed to heat the whole house. The calorific value of firewood ranges from 4.5 to 5.5 kW / hour per kilogram, depending on their moisture content and wood species. If we talk about pellets, then this is approximately 4.5 to 5 kW / h per 1 kg.If we take the average value for 5 kW / h, we get:160/5 * 24 (hours per day) = 768 kg of wood or pellets per day will be spent on heating. Or about 23 tons per month.The weight of one cubic meter of firewood, depending on the breed and moisture content, can vary from 300 to 450 kg per cubic meter. If we take the average value as 375 kg per cubic meter, then the volumes will go away:768/375 = ~ 2 cubic meters per day, or about 60 cubic meters per month.I repeat once again, all calculations are very approximate. It is necessary to take into account the thermal insulation of pipes, apartments, the area of ​​apartments, the quality of the fuel, the temperature outside (there are also different winters, then you will not wait for snow – only rain, then frost at -20). But this is at least a rough understanding of the volume of fuel consumption.

This building is built 100% from what I see, but there is no electricity and water. Some people are living inside anyways. It is standing like this about 6 years now
